destination of the soul

Peter Barakan san of music critic of the British people who are active in Japan.

New Orleans funk and soul music etc.
Nice music that Japanese don’t know much.

He taught it to us.
He also has published of Japanese language about soul music.

I like his writings.
(Of course Japanese language)
I listened to its musics by reference to his book.

・・・・・・・・・

Although this is relying on my memory.
Barakan san said.

"When I was a child.
(at the UK of course.)

Many black music has been included in the album of the Beatles and Stones.
I liked those songs.
And they told us in detail about its their affected music.

Two or three people in the same class of the school.
There were people who are listening to such music as well as the Beatles and Stones.
I began to listen to black music with them."

This seems to have been his starting point.

"That is the difference between the UK and Japan."

Yoichi Shibuya san of music critic.
He laughed to hear it.
(I also like his writings.)

"Two or three people in the same class of the school.
They were listening to the Beatles."

・・・・・・・・・

The Budokan concert of the Beatles was a great success.
But rock music was not yet common at Japan.

About ten years later from this concert.
Situation in Japan had changed a lot.
But rock music was still the music of the West only.

"Rock of Japan.(lol)"
Such sense of Japanese people was still common.

Yazawa san appeared at that time.
