on earth

Temple that is in the back of a japan's coin is engraved.
The name of temple is "Byodo".
This temple was built to luxurious on the dynasty era of japan.

"If you doubt the existence of heaven, go to Byodo."
"Byodo is Joudo (heaven) on earth."

People at that time said so .

Well, temple that mimics Byodo was built in that land by King of the Northeast of Japan.
This kingdom was established after the revolt. (I write before)

This land was the only gold producing areas in Japan.
The king therefore was able to use gold freely.

That temples was golden all.
Of course it would means to flaunt wealth.

”Reproduce Joudo(Heaven) on earth by gold.”

However, there was such a thought in Buddhist culture in japan of the late 12th century.

・・・・・・・・・

Well,joudo-daira.

This landscape is Hell rather than Heaven.
I thought so.

However this place foliage is very beautiful in autumn.
That landscape is like a reproduce Heaven on earth by gold.

I think so.
