There are imaginary animal called "the Qilin" in China. (麒麟)

"The emergence of Qilin.

Qilin is imaginary animal that is said like that.

"The Qilin was captured."　
And there is a history book in ancient China which have been described like that.

Name of the book is "Chunqiu". (春秋)
This is a history book of the country of "Lu" in ancient China.（魯）
And according to the lore, the authors of this book is Confucius.
(Lu is a country that was born of Confucius.)

To around 450 BC from around 770 BC.
The period of time that is described in this book.
It is called the Chunqiu period traditionally.（春秋時代）　
And it has become one of the history section of ancient China.

Incidentally，the next history section of ancient China.
That's the Warring States period. (until 220 BC.)

And the last sentence of this Chunqiu.
It is "The Qilin was captured."　
　
By the way，this was happening in the hunting of a lord.　

"The emergence of this Qilin.
This is a sign that the saint appear soon."

Confucius was delighted so.
And he wrote this fact in Chunqiu.
But this was not the case.

"The king as king and the vassal as vassal.
There was a righteous once.
There was orderly once.　
They had always done the correct way for the people.
　
But they disappeared unawares.
And at the same time，the correct way also disappeared unawares.
　
However，they are not dead,never.
Yes, for example,it is alive in me.
So the correct way will done someday surely.
I believed so.
　
What is correct?
What is wrong?
　
Therefore，I've been writing a history so that it will help the people of future generations.　

But Qilin was captured by hunting of mere vassal of King.
And it was killed by him.
In short，Qilin even became a mere prey already.
This is represents that the correct way is not done never future."
　
Confucius lamented so.

"The Qilin was captured."
　
He wrote so.
And he stopped to write for good
It is said so.

Note:Confucius is the author of Chunqiu.
This is a legend　to the last.

Well，the lord countries large and small were present in the country of Zhou originally.
And they also lived in long history on the basis of a certain order.

But the Chunqiu period was over.
And war of the law of the jungle has started.

First prey of hunters.
Naturally enough，it was a small and weak countries.
